10 Truths About Leadership #3

This is the third of a series of three posts regrading Pete Luongo’s book 10 Truths About Leadership.
Today’s excerpt is the perfect capper, one that is, well, put it this way if this one isn’t a part of who you are a s a leader, then you are not a leader:
While there has been so much written and published about leadership, the fact is, all the models, philosophies and approaches are ineffective without genuine care, concern, and love for the individual. Without love, those approaches and the many others being hailed as the answer are doomed to failure. …those who inspired us were the people who convinced us that we could be more than we were, took us to places we never thought we could go, and believed in us more than we believed in ourselves. They loved us!
Would those you supervise, say the above statement is true about you?
