“Be specific”, as Tom Peters says, and state how, in the past twenty-four hours, you have served someone within whom you lead. It’s a daunting challenge for some, to be sure. But it is not as hard as people make it to be.
- Listening and asking follow-up questions
- Encourage someone and telling them why
- Asking a hard, but necessary question, that opens a hard, but necessary conversation
- Showing up
- Being present
- Being human
